International Students’ Conference
Business management theory and practice: students’ insights
May 17-18, 2019

International Students’ Conference “Business Management Theory and Practice: Students‘ Insights” is a valuable opportunity for students to expose their knowledge, to apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the analysis of various topics. During the conference, students will have the opportunity to present their research activities, and hence to foster research relations between the education establishments, to share their experience, to establish business or research relations and to find partners for future collaboration.
Students are invited to prepare presentations and/or articles on the suggested topics.
Presented papers will be invited to publication in the electronic proceedings of the conference to be published after the conference.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
Student experience and perspectives in contemporary society in the following areas: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Law and Tourism.
Before the conference, the programme and time-schedule containing further information about the conference will be sent to all participants who have registered in due course.

WORKING LANGUAGE
Conference languages are English, Latvian and Russian.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESENTATIONS
Presentations must be prepared using MS PowerPoint.
Presentation consistency must meet the requirements of articles consistency.
Presentation and review of student supervisor (free form of evaluation and recommendation) must be sent to organizer‘s e-mail:
Presentation duration: 7-10 minutes.

STRUCTURE OF THE ARTICLE
Title of the paper (all caps, centered, bold, 14 pt).
Author’s name, surname (all caps, centered, bold, italic, 12 pt).
Name of the college, academy or university (centered, normal, 12 pt).
Supervisor/Consultant, his position and scientific degree (centered, normal, 12 pt).
Annotation (up to 100 words, italic, 11 pt, there should be title, institution, author, annotation tex, key words).
Introduction, chapters and conclusions (title bold, text normal, 12 pt, and alignment left with 1 cm indention).
Tables (title (centered, bold, 10 pt), should be above the table; Arabic numbering should be used; table data with normal, 10 pt).
Pictures (title (centered, bold, 10 pt), should be under the picture).
Formulas (formulas have to be formatted with equation editor of MS Word, and have to be numbered, 10 pt).
References and literature list have to be formatted using APA (American Psychology Association) citation standard; (title bold, text normal, 11 pt).
REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLES
The article should not exceed 4 – 6 pages and should be written in A4 format.

LAYOUT REQUIREMENTS
Text editor: MS Word, Times New Roman; margins: top and bottom 2 cm, left 3 cm, right 1,5 cm. Line spacing – 1. Each paragraph should start with 1 cm indention.
